Important: Location data is collected only while the App is actively in use (foreground). We do not track your location in the background. Location data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

2. AI-Powered Features

TourBot includes an AI-powered chat assistant using Anthropic's Claude model to provide intelligent tour guidance:

  • Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate contextual responses about tours and locations
  • Chat conversations are used solely to provide AI functionality and may be used to improve response quality
  • We do not use chat data for advertising or marketing purposes
  • Data processing by Anthropic is governed by their privacy policy and data handling practices

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

TourBot offers premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions:

  • Payment processing is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
  • We do not have access to your full payment card details
  • RevenueCat manages subscription status and entitlements on our behalf
  • We receive only anonymized purchase confirmation and subscription status information

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the App. Each service has its own privacy policy:

  • Expo - App development platform and runtime services
  • Apple Maps - Mapping, navigation, and location display
  • Google Places API - Location search and points of interest data
  • Better Auth - Secure authentication and user account management
  • Anthropic (Claude API) - AI-powered chat responses and tour guidance
  • RevenueCat - Subscription and in-app purchase management
  • Sentry (if applicable) - Error tracking and performance monitoring

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts securely

TourBot is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
